I'll be in Chicago for the Greater Chicago Jewish Folk Art Festival. I'm hoping for great weather and even better sales. Friday night at Shiraz was a bust, but the investment was small. So the work that went into preparing for it just gives me that much more stock for next week.
I've gotten back into the painting mode and have gotten a couple of new ones completed. Assuming that this roll will continue, I hope to get several more small canvases painted before leaving on Friday.
This one is a bit different for the Torah scroll series. The colors are warmer and the brush strokes are a little looser. It's on a 12x12 gallery wrapped canvas.
This new tree of life is a small 4x6 canvas and I've included some collaged type. I like the look and have another one on the easel with type. I'll try to keep posting as I go. Back to work.
