New picture of an old painting

Shalom in Jerusalem Hamsa, 12 x 12 Acrylic on Gallery Wrapped Canvas

Funny how the paintings run together after awhile and I forget what's been done before. I just came across a photo of this one that sold over a year ago and realized I hadn't made any prints to sell on Etsy or it or posted it on my website. I suppose I'll take a few minutes to do that soon, but in the meantime I thought I'd share it here.

St. Louis Celebrate Israel at 60 KaleidoFest

It's been a crazy week! A week ago Saturday, May 3, I packed up my van with all of my art and goodies and headed to the St. Louis JCC. I joined a group of artists setting up for a Middle Eastern marketplace in an amazing setting as part of the celebration of Israel at 60. There we spent most of the week displaying our wares to the many people who came to the numerous events. It was a great experience in so many ways! The organizers took such good care of us, the customers were friendly, full of compliments and eager to buy, and my fellow vendors became like family. I'll try to get some posts up the next couple of days featuring the talented people and their work. I played "Jewish Geography" all week and had a great time making new friends. Thanks especially to Randi and Sue for including me in the event–you two are terrific!
